Bessie Busybody

Bessie Busybody is a motherly figure, but Busybody by name and busybody by nature - she has to know everything that's going on with the people in Lazy Town. Nosey is an understatement - she likes nothing better than to eavesdrop on gossip.

Although Bessie Busybody can be pompous and patronising at times, she does try to be motherly to the children of Lazy Town. All she wants is to be respected. One advantage of her "need to know-it-all" nature is that she knows all the latest fashions and trends.

Surprisingly though, Bessie is totally oblivious of the Mayor's crush on her!
